GeoHoliday Credits (GHCs) are the commodity that is redeemed for accommodations or other benefits during each year of your Membership. On your anniversary date you will have your allotment of GHCs deposited to your Membership account. The number of GHCs in your annual (or biennial) allotment will depend on the level of Membership that you have purchased. Think of your GeoHoliday Membership as a unique “savings account”. The Club “deposits” a predetermined quantity of GeoHoliday Credits into your account each year, and you simply “withdraw” the vacations you want, based on the predetermined quantity of Credits required for each experience. These GeoHoliday Credits (or GHCs), are the most important component of the system used by GeoHoliday Members when determining their vacation requirements. Resort destinations are assigned Credit values based on the seasonal demand for the week required, the size and style of the accommodations required, and the demand for the resort area in general. This system enables Members to enjoy the ultimate in vacation flexibility by allowing you to determine the type of vacation that is right for you, your family and invited guests. GeoHoliday Credits can be used in a variety of ways. You can contact Member Services and tell them that you wish to convert your Credits for accommodations and then use them for yourself, rent them to others, give them as a gift, or otherwise assign the vacation week to anyone you choose! Converted GHCs make a great gift for all occasions for family, friends, or business associates!

One of the best alternatives is to exercise your option to purchase Temporary Holiday Credits (THCs). These Credits are used in the same way as GHCs, but are only purchased and used on an as–needed basis. You have the right to purchase THCs up to any quantity as long as it does not exceed your annual Credit allotment. For example, if your Membership includes 30,000 annual Credits, you may purchase up to 30,000 extra Credits (available in blocks of 1,000) in order to provide you with the short term Credits you may need to access the resort, week, and size of unit you require. The price will fluctuate, and although they will be higher than the cost of your original Credits, it will still represent an excellent value for you. As stated, the fee for each THC is set by the Members’ Committee and is adjusted from time to time.
